Can anyone accept payments for expenses (reimbursement) from other than your employer (payroll & H-1b holding company). This could be accept such payments for expenses (reimbursement) directly from middle man company or client ?

What are they going to do next... Put us in Guantanamo Bay detention camp.... for being immigrants ...and that too legal...and that too high skilled.:mad:

You heard me right friend, no employer sponsorship based on anything after May 15th 2007 and no points system. This is Pat Buchanan's dream come true- an entire fiscal year without any green cards being issued on the basis of employment!

but even with this big announcement tomorrow, we still only have 140,000 visas and keep in mind USCIS has just been averaging about 100,000 per year. (so about 40,000 get wasted every year)
All all this does is to push the bottleneck further down the pipeline.
the only benefit I see is that it helps with filing of AP and EAD which does not help someone like me with my 485 already pending

I am one of the concurrent filing applicants. I filed my 140 and 485 on July 2. Can you give me a link for this memo ? Also if I invoke ac 21 do i need to file the g28 on 485 ? and what is g28 exactly for ?
In your case, to file AC-21 to change employers, you need to have approved I-140 and will have to wait for 180 days from the 485 receipt.
Just google search Yates memo pdf and you will find it. G-28 is a form that is filed to authorize a lawyer to represent you with USCIS.

There is 200k application without 140 approval, this is including july filers.
there is lot of chnace for those who got their I-140 approved, even their PD '2006.
you can see people getting approved PD'2005 EB2 cases, even then VB says now 2004'apr for EB2.They are not processing based on PD now and in future also i gues.Since we have already filed.PD will restrict only to File I-485 in future.
I think EB2-jan2007 and EB3-Aprl2005 in October VB

Urgency of getting a receipt is that once you get the receipt, it means that USCIS has 'accepted' your application and it will not be rejected for lack of initial evidence.
