Ok, I've seen a lot of threads about go to the rally, actions items, I've reading a lot of guys saying dont ask for your receipt status, dont waste your time etc, etc.

Question remains open:
1. When are they going to increase the GC quota?

Almost all holders of the CA have a 3 year BCom. We have had, as far as we know, 100% approvals showing the CA = US Masters with the proper documentation and a professor's expert opinion letter. Also with AMIETE.

CA as well as ICWA are post high school (10+2) programs. Therefore they can not deemed as Master Degree level courses. In fact, I did my ICWA along with my graduation from IIT. Just because most people do it after BCom does not make it Masters level program.
In the case when/if USCIS determines CA India not to be of Masters level program, it can affect even the approved I-140 petitions.

Folks, can dependent's participate in writing letters to President? I have already mailed my hand written letter to White House and copy to IV team, in addition to that I got confirmation from other Indians with whom I work also mailed their letters..If dependents are also allowed then count for another 10 letters from my side...;)

filing of MTR does not give you status, once they accept it, yes you are in status again.
yes. You are basically keeping USCIS updated with the information of an emplpoyer who is willing to hire you once you get your GC.
How long does it usually take USCIS to accept the MTR. I am assuming if it's less than 6 months then we don't have to worry about being out of status?

They do not have any information and just repeat what these radio talk shows say. Last week one caller who called to criticize Obama for decision on Gen. McCrystal; had not even read the article that the General wrote.

Got my RFE finally. It is for an employment letter. They gave me until 3/19. (RFE was generated on 2/13)

Got my wife's RFE today ( sent to the lawyer who scanned it for us). My wife apparently forgot to sign the medical form before the physician sealed it. We need to go back to the physician have it signed in his presence and have it sealed by him again. Not a big deal I guess.

But this is USCIS. To calculate 21605-20000 they need full business day. Jokes apart they haven't mentioned. My guess is probability of winning lotto on Masters quota would be far higher than on regular quota. I could be wrong.

Sorry to hear the screw up. I had some what similar issue with H1B extension when attorney didn't timely file my application. USCIS approved H1B with no I-94 attached basically asking to leave country and get stamping in India.
We then contacted Murthy firm who filed 'nunc-pro-tunk' petition saying it was a mistake by employer/attorney and I shouldn't be penalized. USCIS then issued new approval with I-94.
I am not sure if this works for 485 but a competent attorney should be able to give a conclusive answer. Since you have the document you should try this and also change the attorney at the same time. You can also get a statement from old attorney about his mistake.

Also, if you look at the IAF's area of operation: F-22 is an overkill. None of the neighboring countries and this includes China has capabilities that will necessitate something like F-22 to deal with.

I got the scanned copy of the RFE of my wife's case from my attorney this morning, here are the details - "Need secondary evidence to demonstrate the claimed relationship..."
